Those ideas have come together in the creation of the Border Special. It was built on a Concealed Carry Cut, Commander-sized frame and slide with the standard chambering in .45 ACP. The frame and mainspring housing have been carry optimized with scallop texturing for minimal slippage. Nighthawk outfitted the slide with a Heinie Slant Pro rear sight, a Gold Bead front sight, and the slide top is serrated for improved sight acquisition.
