Forster Original, Power Case Trimmer Outside Neck Turner

Description

This Outside Neck Turner attachment fits both the Forster Original and Forster Power Case Trimmers, allowing the reloader to make absolutely certain that their bullet is being released consistently from the case neck. At the point of ignition, the case neck must expand to allow bullet release. If the case neck is thicker on one side than the other, the thinner side will release the bullet sooner and cause a slight bullet-to-bore misalignment that can seriously impair accuracy. While hand-held neck turners center the brass case on a pilot, this neck turner attachment turns case necks concentric to a case’s true axis for more uniform thickness and exact outside neck diameter. Features a circular carbide cutter, and is designed to be used after the neck has been resized and expanded. Cases longer than 2.94″ require the use of a long case trimmer base (Product #491050) sold separately.
