Description
Tyvek Overshot Disks are ideal for magnum steel shot loads. Tyvek Disks contain pellets in the shotcup. Tyvek Disks can be placed on the base of the shotcup and can perform as an over-cushion wad. They are thin and yet they minimize the chance of pellets harming the wad to give better patterns and improved pellet counts. TY58 are a special purpose overshot card, and are typically used for small pellet retention or buffer retention (preventing material from escaping the crimp) in max fitting loads where a standard overshot card cannot be used.? They are also used underneath the shot in many non-toxic loads to prevent damage to the wad during initial setback at the point of combustion.
Notes: When placed over internal cushion wads the Tyvek pad stops pellets from embedding into the cushion and seals buffer in shot area. Helps to provide consistent and improved patterns.
